How to Make a Chicken Soup Bowl

Instructions

1. Bring beef bone broth to boil, which makes a fantastic base for your chicken soup bowl.

2. Add chicken and sliced onion slices and garlic salt. Cover with lid and turn heat to down to medium and simmer for 12-14 minutes.

3. Cut mushrooms in halves. (Brush off excess dirt with dry paper towel)

I like the texture of mushroom halves because it gives a great bite size delicate crunch, when lightly cooked. LOL!

4. Cut avocado in spears. Longer pieces prevent avocado from overcooking and becoming mushy in the chicken soup bowl.

5. Wash cilantro and cut into small chopped pieces (including stems).

Did you know that cilantro is great for the liver!

6. While chicken is simmering, at 7-9 minutes, add mushroom halves, cilantro, salt, cumin and replace lid for the remainder of time.

7. Remove from heat immediately to prevent overcooking of these delicate ingredients. 😉

  • 1 pack skinless chicken tenderloins
  • 1 carton beef bone broth
  • 1 cup white mushrooms halves
  • 1 bunch cilantro chopped
  • 1 whole avocado cut spears
  • 1-2 tbsp white onion sliced
  • 1-2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1-2 tsp cumin
  • 1-2 tsp salt to taste
