This healthy and tasty, Turkey Taco Bell Pepper Wraps was originally made on my outdoor Blackstone griddle, but it also works PERFECTLY on a stovetop. An easy, low-carb ground turkey recipe for tacos and super fun to make!
Preheat your griddle to low to medium. Once it gets to temp, add ground turkey to one side of the griddle. Start using spatula right away to finely break turkey up into smaller pieces.
After 2–3 minutes, season with cumin powder, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, oregano, sea salt and a heavy splash of water and small drizzle of oil, to help mix seasoning and keep the turkey moist.
Sauté the minced garlic separately until golden, then mix into the turkey. This step happens fast, so be prepared because it takes about only 30 seconds! Make sure to flip the turkey tacos a few times, so it evenly cooks.
Around the 7-minute mark, place the pepper halves cut-side down on the griddle.
Add green onions, ripe mango and fresh squeezed lime juice to the turkey.
Cover with a dome lid to steam the peppers for 1 minute and finish cooking the meat. Allow the peppers to get golden edges.
Remove everything when fully cooked.Spoon the turkey mixture into each bell pepper half and top with fresh lime juice.
