Smothered Grass-Fed Ribeye Steak with Veggies

Equipment

  • 1 griddle or large skillet

Ingredients
  

  • 2 whole ribeye steak
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp flaky sea salt
  • 1 drizzle olive oil
  • 8 ounce mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 whole yellow onion, sliced
  • 2 stalks green onions, chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions
 

  • Set your griddle to 365 F and allow to preheat. (or medium heat on stovetop skillet)
    Drizzle olive oil evenly across the surface of the griddle
  • Pat each side of the ribeye steaks with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
    Season the ribeye steaks on both sides with garlic powder and flaky sea salt.
    Slice the onions and mushrooms, chop the green onions, and mince the garlic.
  • Cook steak 7-8 minutes on each side until it develops a crust.
    While the steak is cooking, caramelize onions, mushrooms, and garlic with splash of water to keep moist.
    After removing the steak, allow to set 5 minutes for savory juices pack in.
