How to make the best steak: Smothered Grass-Fed Ribeye Steak with Veggies
I love the taste of grass-fed steak, and it’s all around healthier. I choose organic vegetables, but you can use conventional ones if that fits your budget. Organic options are less processed, not sprayed with pesticides, and easier for your body to digest.
Preheat the Griddle:
Set your griddle to 365 F and allow to preheat. (or medium heat on stovetop skillet)
Drizzle olive oil evenly across the surface of the griddle.
Prepare the ingredients:
Pat each side of the ribeye steaks with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
Season the ribeye steaks on both sides with garlic powder and flaky sea salt.
Slice the onions and mushrooms, chop the green onions, and mince the garlic.
The veggies are what smother this grass-fed ribeye nicely and each bite is delish!!
Cooking time:
Cook steak 7-8 minutes on each side until it develops a crust.
While the steak is cooking, caramelize onions, mushrooms, and garlic with splash of water to keep moist.
After removing the steak, allow to set 5 minutes for savory juices pack in.
Smothered Grass-Fed Ribeye Steak with Veggies turned out perfectly medium and was super juicy on the griddle.
Once the steak has rested, top it with the vegetables and add a little rosemary if desired!
My daughter and I enjoyed this healthy recipe of Smothered Grass-Fed Steak with Veggies. It’s a quick, great source of protein, iron, all the essential B vitamins.
This dish is perfect for the carnivore diet or anyone looking for a healthy, low-carb dinner!!
