Instructions:
1. Fry turkey to almost fully cooked. (slightly pink) This is essential for cooking Love Me Tender Turkey properly.

2. Thoroughly wash kale, cilantro, green onions. Cut into desired small sizes.
Cut mushrooms into small slices as preferred.

These green ground onions are the best for flavor, I believe to get that comfort food taste for Love Me Tender Turkey.

3. Add 2-3 cups hot water to turkey and bring to simmer. Add all ingredients to turkey and cover with lid. Simmer for 10-12 minutes to achieve the signature tenderness of Love Me Tender Turkey.

Don’t forget to stir the ingredients for the flavors to blend together. Add some sea salt for some extra flavor! It’s my go to for most recipes. 🙂 I usually refrigerate the extra for 2-3 days. Makes for a great re-heat for lunch. Hope you enjoy this dish as much as I do! YUM!

  • 1-2 bunches kale.
  • 1 bag cilantro lime rice.
  • 1 bunch cilantro.
  • 1 1/2-1 cup mushrooms. can exclude if preferred.
  • 1 bunch green onions.
