Remove giblets and neck from turkey cavity. Place whole turkey, breast-side up, in large roasting pan.Rub garlic powder and paprika all over the turkey skin. Add 32 ounces of broth. Place in oven and oven-roast turkey skin for 30 minutes. (light golden brown)
Remove from the oven. Add apples, onions, garlic. Assort herbs on skin and in cavities.Cover whole turkey pan with double foil and reduce temperature in oven to 350°F.
Continue roasting turkey until an instant-read thermometer reads 165°F in thickest part of turkey breast. (ensuring all areas reaches a safe 165°F)
Let the juicy turkey rest for 20 minutes before cutting and serving.
