Equipment

  • 1 large baking dish
  • 1 strainer

Ingredients
  

  • 6 cans cut green beans
  • 16 oz sliced white mushrooms
  • 64 oz portobello mushroom creamy soup
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1-2 whole yellow onions
  • 2 cups oat flour
  • 1/4-1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Strain green beans and place in baking dish. Stir in garlic powder and mushroom soup. Add hand-crumbled mushrooms.
    Put dish in oven, uncovered and bake for 35 minutes.
  • While baking, slice onions and place in bowl of cold water.
    Dip each one in dry bowl mix of oat flour and salt.
    Deep fry loose breaded onions together in olive oil until light golden brown.
    Top green bean casserole and bake additional 5-7 minutes.
    Allow to cool 10 minutes before serving.
